March 31 & April 1, 2011 - Firefighter's Conference, sponsored by Sandy Springs F.D.
April 30 & May 1, 2011 - Metro-Atlanta Firefighter's Conference held at Cobb County Safety Village 8:00am followed by Firefighter's Bash 6:00 - 10:00pm
May 6, 2011 - Cobb Guns and Hoses relay for life at Jim Miller Park, Marietta GA 5:00 p.m.
July 24, 2011- A piece of steel from the World trade Center arrived on an engine donated by Ferrara Fire Trucks at Cobb County Station 19 at 7:00pm
July 25, 2011- 10:00am ceremony for WTC steel at Roswell Fire/Rescue
August 26 and 27, 2011 - IAFC/FRI 2011 at the Georgia World Congress Center (booth#3452)
September 11, 2011 - "Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund Georgia Chapter 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb" held at the Riverwood Building: 2853 Cobb Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30339. The climb started at noon and was not be a timed event. The memorial climb was held in the 22 story building, and the participants climbed the structure a total of 5 times (110 stories) to represent the 110 stories of the twin towers. Each person participating will represent a member of the FDNY lost on September 11,2001.
